What types of events do you cater to?
Kellis Catering and Events host all events. We specialize in Birthdays, Weddings, Bridal/Engagement showers, Corporate Events, Pharmaceutical Luncheons, Sporting Events/Professional Sporting Events and so much more.
How long have you been in business?
We have been proudly serving the Tampa Baby for the last 18 years, since 2003
How far in advance should I reserve my date?
It is difficult to predict when catering and events slots will fill up the fastest, but we recommend that you call in to reserve your date as soon as you are aware of the date. We take reservations on a first-come, first-serve basis. And we suggest that all Corporate Events/Luncheons - 72 hr Weddings/Parties/Events - a Weeks Notice
How do I get a quote for my event?

How far do you travel to cater an event?
Kelli’s Catering is located in Tampa Bay and serves within Hillsborough and Pinellas County **mileage fee applies** (This does not mean we will not cater your order if you are outside the county, it all depends on mileage)
Do you offer just delivery or drop-off?
We offer Delivery, Customer Pick-Up, Drop Off, setup, as well as Break down.
How does your event staff dress for events?
Our trained and professional staff are attired in black pants, black polos/button-down, and black bistro aprons (if needed)
Can I make up my own menu or make changes to the menu you gave me?
Absolutely! Chef Kelli loves hearing and creating new menu ideas and is always willing to work with our clients. When a “menu estimate” is sent to you it is NOT finalized, you are able to make any changes or add on as you wish.
Can Kellis Catering & Events accommodate guests with dietary restrictions?
We are more than happy to work with you to accommodate any special dietary needs. (GF, V, DF, Pescatarian, Kosher-style) – Let us know what you/your guest restrictions are and we will create the right menu for that event. If there are any known allergies that need to be considered we will make sure to ensure the safety of you and your guest
What happens to the leftovers?
We provide to-go boxes so that you and your guest can take a delicious meal with you.

Do you offer tastings?
Kelli’s Catering and Events are currently doing To-Go Tastings. Tastings are offered for large events and celebrations such as Engagements, Weddings, Showers, Large Parties, ETC.
Do you provide wine or liquor?
We do not provide wine, beer, or liquor however Kelli’s Catering does offer Bartenders
When do I need to get a final guest count for you?
It is best to give a final headcount as soon as you know how many guests will be attending. However, we can accommodate 72 hours of events. (Menus can also be changed within 72 hours of the event)
What is your cancellation policy?
All Events must be canceled 72 hours prior to the event. Any cancellation after 72 hours will be charged full price.
Is a served meal the same price as a buffet?
No, a served/plated meal is charged depending on headcount, how many servers and the wait staff is needed, etc.
Why is catering more expensive than going to a restaurant?
Catering companies are essentially creating a restaurant for you. Catering cost includes many things such as -Delivery: Driver and Travel Time
-Set-up and Break Down- Food set-up, display, decor, linens, dishes, glassware, etc. The wait staff is there to maintain the cleanness of the event space, make sure all plates/cups are cleared and leave nothing behind.
-Chef and Waitstaff on that day is just for you and your guest
Do you have a cake-cutting fee?
As simple as it seems, cutting a cake can be quite tedious. A fee is included with your final bill
Am I supposed to tip the event staff?
Gratuities are not included in your bill unless you direct us to do so. However, servers graciously accept tips for a job well done and their services. We suggest 18 – 20% of the food and beverage portions of your invoice, which can be included in your final payment and we will be more than happy to pass it along to the staff.
